About the role
Our Locality Teams are welcoming, collaborative and committed to supporting each other to be the best we can be. You will work alongside a Service Manager, Assistant Service Managers, Senior Social Workers, Social Workers and Social Care Assessors who pride themselves on delivering strengths‑based, person‑centred support for adults with a wide range of needs.

What the Role Involves
- Completing strengths‑based assessments and managing risk in a way that promotes independence and wellbeing.
- Working in partnership with residents and carers using a person‑centred, values‑driven approach.
- Applying the Care Act 2014 and safeguarding responsibilities to ensure high‑quality practice.
- Contributing to budget management and ensuring timely care planning.
- Supervising up to 5 Social Workers/Social Care Assessors and supporting their development.
- Acting as a professional lead within the team and modelling excellent practice.
This role includes hybrid working: a mix of time in the Wandsworth office, visits in the community and some home working.

What You’ll Need
- A recognised Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration.
- Successful completion of ASYE or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication, organisational and decision‑making skills.
- A solid understanding of adult social care legislation and safeguarding.
