The London Boroughs of Richmond upon Thames and Wandsworth are home to an award-winning Public Health Team—and we’re looking for a dynamic Public Health Lead to join us. This is a fixed-term contract for 18 months.

In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Champion mental wellbeing impact assessments across policies and services.
  • Work with NHS and voluntary sector partners to maximise the reach and impact of mental health initiatives.
  • You’ll also support the local suicide prevention strategy, shape strategic commissioning plans, and provide expert public health advice on high-impact projects.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Brings vision, creativity, and leadership to public health challenges.
  • Has a strong track record of partnership working across sectors.
  • Is passionate about reducing health inequalities and improving outcomes for vulnerable communities.
