A unique opportunity has arisen for Senior Social Care Advisors to join our First Contact Team where you will be working jointly for two high performing London councils, Richmond and Wandsworth Better Service Partnership.

We provide an effective, accessible, customer-focussed first point of contact service for Adult Social Care.

The successful candidate will work closely with their team and the Community Advice and Support Team to ensure that the service promotes independence and strengths in line with the Richmond and Wandsworth's values and behaviours.
About the role
The role requires Senior Social Care Advisors to:
- Have experience managing people, allocating work and managing performance.
- Have good report writing skills, IT skills and is able to manage various work streams, within specific time scales.
- Ensure the team undertakes its statutory functions under the Care Act 2014 and in accordance with the Inter-Agency Policy and Procedures for Safeguarding Adults
- Have a commitment towards strength-based outcomes and working with other health professionals and voluntary sector organisations.
- Have a keen interest in change and leading change.
- Have an ability to build good relationships with other professional bodies and community organisations.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
This is a busy team with a fast throughput of work, therefore excellent time management skills and the ability to manage your own caseload is essential. We would like to hear from people who are passionate about delivering the best services to our residents.
