We're at the forefront of local government innovation, and we're looking for a dynamic individual to join our Adult Social Care & Public Health Business Systems Team.
This is a hybrid position, requiring you to work on-site at Richmond/Wandsworth Council twice a week. The remaining time can be spent working remotely from home or in the offices should this be your preference.
About the role
As the Social Care Systems Manager, you'll be the go-to expert for our Mosaic social care system. You'll lead the charge in implementing and managing business processes, ensuring they are user-friendly, efficient, and secure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Mosaic system.
- Leading and mentoring a team of support analysts.
- Collaborating with stakeholders, including the NHS and other partners.
- Ensuring data integrity and compliance with GDPR and Caldicott principles.
- Managing relationships with IT departments and external suppliers
- Driving continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Experience
- Experience in supporting and configuring health or social care systems.
- Knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex issues to non-technical audiences.
- A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
We're seeking someone with a strong background in health or social care systems, excellent project management skills, and a keen eye for detail. You should be a natural leader, capable of motivating and developing your team. Key criteria includes:
